Experience a different side of Hawaiʻi in our eco-friendly, off-grid jungalows nestled within a native ʻōhiʻa rainforest. Powered by nature and designed for comfort, each cabin is supplied with sustainably harvested rainwater collected directly from our rooftops, allowing guests to enjoy a more mindful and authentic island experience.
While immersed in nature, you'll still enjoy the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. One of our guests' favorite features is the private open-air bathroom, where you can shower surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. It's a uniquely Hawaiian experience that many describe as magical.
The shared community kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, and everything needed to prepare meals. Complimentary coffee, tea, local honey, and a selection of spices are available for guests to enjoy. Because the kitchen is communal, you'll often have the opportunity to meet fellow travelers and share stories from your island adventures.
Conveniently located between Hilo, Volcano, and Pahoa, our property serves as an excellent home base for exploring Hawaiʻi Island. We're a short drive from Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, several disc golf courses, black sand beaches, scenic coastal drives, and many of the island's most popular attractions, including adventures to the southernmost point of the United States and nearby Green Sands Beach.
Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or a deeper connection with nature, our rainforest jungalows offer a memorable Big Island experience unlike any other.
We take pride in offering AUTHENTIC BIG ISLAND lodging and our reviews speak volumes! We are not just a Hipcamp Star Host, but also a VRBO Premier Host AND an AirBnB SUPERHOST with our listings being "Guest Favorites" as well!
